A wall is covered with 220 plates bearing the names of over hundred global activists
who, through their own personal courage, have been fighting for social transformation
and practical solutions to the most urgent challenges facing the world today.
Some of them are laureates of the Right Livelihood Award - also referred to
as the "Alternative Nobel Prize". The wall is also covered with the
names of the branches and headquarters of over hundred companies from the world's
largest public and private businesses (with combined annual revenues exceeding
40 billion U.S. dollars). The vocal artist starts singing the name of one of
the companies, the audience repeat the name and then the performer starts to
destroy one or more panels on the wall with an electrical polishing machine,
causing an earsplitting sound. After 15 minutes all names are declaimed and
the remaining panels on the wall form the letters "T I M E". Only
the names of the alternative activists have survived...
